This embroidered sweater was spotted on the beautiful English actress Anna Friel. Our MARVELLOUS jumper pays tribute to the mischievous genius of Roald Dahl — the British novelist, fighter pilot, and master of magical mischief whose stories made generations believe that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. Born in Wales to Norwegian parents in 1916, Dahl’s own life was every bit as adventurous as his imagination. From his daring years as an RAF pilot to penning Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and The BFG, he taught us that courage, kindness, and a dash of rebellion are the secret ingredients of something truly marvellous. Knitted in England from luxury British lambswool, our MARVELLOUS jumper captures that same sparkle — playful, witty, and unmistakably British. Each one is bespoke embroidered with care, a wearable reminder to look for the wonder hiding in the everyday. More than a jumper; it’s a story you can wear — spun from imagination, humour and heart.

Materials

Caring for Your Knitwear

Hand wash at 20°C

Do not bleach or tumble dry

Natural fibres improve with thoughtful care and, when looked after well, can remain part of your wardrobe for many years. We use natural dyes so subtle colour variations may occur.

To Wear: Wear often. Allow your knit to rest between wears to help the wool recover its natural shape. Fold rather than hang to preserve its silhouette.

To Wash: Wash only when necessary. Hand wash in cool water using a gentle wool detergent, or dry clean if preferred. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Reshape whilst damp and dry flat, away from direct heat or sunlight. Cool iron if required.

To Store: Store folded in a cool, dry place. Natural wool is best protected from moths by keeping it clean and using cedarwood or lavender sachets during storage.

Repairs: The finest garments are those that gather stories. Should your knit require repair after years of wear, we invite you to return it to the House. Wherever possible, we will restore it so it can continue its journey.
